Our dealership is an official toy drop location, and we’re asking for new and unwrapped toys to ensure those who need assistance in our community will have presents to open for Christmas.

What to know about the Toys for Tots drive at Toyota of Orlando

Before dropping off a toy at our Orlando dealership, there are few things we want you to remember:

• The toys must be new and unwrapped
• There’s no specific list of what toys you should donate, but realistic toy weapons and food won’t be accepted
• We’ll accept toys that are targeted toward children 16 and under

You can drop off toys at Toyota of Orlando anytime during our hours of operation. Our donation boxes are located in front of our Toyota parts center, right next to our cafe and auto service waiting area.

Auto service to have done before the temperature drops

As we mentioned earlier, you’ll be able to get $20 off any auto service with a donation to our Toys for Tots drive. To make sure you get the best use out of this savings, we suggest the following services get done before winter arrives:

Tire service - We recommend getting your car tires checked out before the cold weather hits. That’s because you’ll more than likely experience a loss in air pressure when the first cold front hits. Most car tires usually lose around one psi for every ten-degree drop in the temperature.

Auto fluids service - Like other liquids, your auto fluids tend to thicken as the temperature get colder. If fluids like your transmission fluid and oil get too thick, it could hinder the performance of your vehicle. Make sure to get your fluids changed if you’re due for it!

Spark plug and battery checks - You don’t want to get caught stranded this winter! One way to prevent this is by getting your spark plugs and car battery checked.
