Pulse survivor and 911 dispatcher "ink" friendship formed during Pulse massacre

Yvens Carrenard listened as Omar Mateen fired shot after shot inside Orlando's Pulse nightclub.

On June 12, 2016, Carrenard dialed 911 as he hid from Mateen in an upstairs portion of the club.

On the other end of that call, dispatcher Jessica Brooks.

She stayed on the phone with Carrenard for about 20 minutes until SWAT officers found and rescued him.

Brooks says, "That was huge for me because I had just heard someone not get out."

After that horrible night was over, Brooks says she wondered what happened to Carrenard.

How was he doing? What would he do to move past that terrible night?

The News Station's Tom Johnson shows you how she tracked him down, and the permanent bond they just 'inked' to show the strength of their friendship.
