SunPass pushing for website system repair

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Representative Bob Cortes says that the SunPass vendor is being fined $5,000 for every day the system has been down.

Cortes went on to say that the SunPass contract is up for renewal in a year-and-a-half. He says that if they do not hold up their end of the agreement, then the state may find someone else.

He also said that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) will stay on top of them.
