Owner searching for answers after cat is shot in the leg

EDGEWATER, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A cat was shot in an Edgewater neighborhood and people want to know who did it and why.

Evelyn Seabold says that one of her cats was shot in the leg, but is expected to be okay.

People around the neighborhood are spreading the word and hope that this is just a big misunderstandings. Evelyn thinks it is possible that someone thought they were shooting at raccoons and hit her cat. 

Evelyn also has a missing cat named Aries, who was one of her rescue cats that she's had for ten years.
