Orlando International Airport expects record number of travels this holiday season

The skies are expected to be busy as a record number of travelers are expected to fly through the Orlando International Airport (OIA).

AAA expects Orlando to be the most popular destination in the country. Airport officials at OIA expect a 6% jump, meaning that up to 1.82 million passengers will fly through the airport during this two-week period.

Airport officials urge that whether you are flying to or from OIA, that you plan head, as it will be busy and the airport is currently undergoing renovations.

Saturday, November 24th, is expected to be the busiest travel day of the holiday season. They expect 152,000 people to pass through the terminal that day alone.
