Florida resident surprised to see iguana in his home, his pets are not a fan

A south Florida resident was in for a surprise after returning home from Home Depot.

Joey Milano posted to Facebook on Thursday that after a trip to Home Depot, he returned home to an iguana in his home. He took video of the encounter and posted it with the caption "Come back home from Home Depot and this fella is just chillin making himself at home, wait till the end to see how he says his goodbye! #floridalivin."

In the video, the iguana is shown slowly making his way through the home, eventually entering the kitchen. A dog at the residence confronts the iguana several times, but ends up backing away in fear every time. Even one of the cats at the home is fearful of the iguana, immediately running away upon noticing it.

In the video, Joey is heard describing the iguana as over four-feet long. He also calls him 'Frank.'

Fox 35 spoke to Joey, who said that he actually has seen Frank again since this encounter. The next day, Joey was on his patio when Frank came up to him. He ended up going under Joey's chair, waiting to be fed. Joey said the two of them hung out for about 20 to 30 minutes until Frank walked away.
