Chaotic scene as students pulled from school bus

Cell phone video shows a chaotic scene outside an Orange County school bus.  In the video, you can hear people yelling as kids are pulled through the bus windows.

It all happened Wednesday afternoon along Metro West Boulevard. The bus was on a route from Westpointe Elementary School, according to school officials.  The district says the bus driver came to a halt a couple hundred feet from the bus stop because some kids had been horsing around on the bus, and one started bleeding.

District officials say the driver called EMS and followed procedure by not allowing anyone on or off the bus until help arrived.

The woman who recorded the video says parents waited for about 45 minutes. She says they didn’t get answers from the bus driver and the kids started screaming.   She says that’s when some parents opened the door to confront the driver and started pulling the children through the windows.

The district says the incident is under investigation.
