SeaWorld Orlando's newest attraction, Infinity Falls, opens

SeaWorld's newest attraction, a river raft ride called Infinity Falls, is officially open.

The new attraction opened on Thursday morning. The ride plunges park guests down the world's tallest river rapid drop, as they roar through a brand new rainforest river experience. The drop is 40-feet tall.

Infinity Falls is the new centerpiece of a newly themed surrounding area, fully immersing guests in a rainforest canopy. After riding the ride, one can explore the village and take part in interactive experiences that combine play with education to create a positive impact on freshwater ecosystems.

Attendance continues to climb at SeaWorld Orlando, as attendance is up more than 10% for the park in the third quarter. Total revenues are expected to rise $41 million, or about 9%.
