BREVARD COUNTY, Fla (WOFL FOX 35) - An innocent looking selfie lands a local teenager back behind bars.
Jessica Umberger pleaded guilty for her role in a crowbar attack on another teen last year. A judge told her to stay off social media because she had posted online about the violent attack.
However Umberger recently posted a selfie anyway.
Her attorney argues she did not violate court orders because she used an iPod Touch and not a smartphone, tablet or computer.
But the judge said he thinks the iPod still counts as a violation so she is back in jail.
