Fall front brings cooler temperatures to Central Florida this week

A Fall front has arrived in Central Florida, bringing cooler temps for much of the week.

Winds blowing through the state are bringing low temperatures to the mid 70s for much of Central Florida, with the low 60s present in areas farther north like Gainesville and Ocala. Some areas of Florida are experiencing temperature drops of 5, 10, and 15 degrees.

The week should be much milder than what Central Florida has experienced lately and should last at least through Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Rain will hold off until later this week as well.

The Tropical Atlantic remains quiet at this moment.
