Traffic Alert: Rolling roadblocks and detours on S.R. 408 and S.R. 417
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Central Florida Expressway Authority says that the flow of traffic will be affected on S.R. 408 and S.R. 417 on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
They say that on Tuesday, June 19th, from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m., rolling roadblocks are scheduled on S.R. 408 to move a crane. Each rolling roadblock could take about 30 minutes.
They also said that a detour is scheduled overnight on westbound S.R. 408 and the northbound S.R. 417 ramp to westbound S.R. 408 on Tuesday, June 19th, and Wednesday, June 20th, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Drivers will be directed to go northbound on S.R. 417, exit at S.R. 50 (Colonial Drive), and then get back on southbound S.R. 417 to return to westbound S.R. 408. Tolls at S.R. 50 (Colonial Drive) will be suspended during the detour.
