Lions Earn a 2-2 Draw On A Late Goal

For the second time in two weeks, Orlando City managed a 2-2 draw with the New England Revolution. This time in front of just over 25,000 fans at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

Carlos Rivas scored his first ever goal for Orlando City in the 90th minute to tie the game at 2-2.  US Men's National team member Juan Agudelo scored in the 70th minute to put the Revolution ahead 2-1. That was just a minute after Agudelo came on as a substitute. Kevin Molino's 2nd goal of the season came in the 30th minute to tie the score at 1. New England opened the scoring in the game early, with a 7th minute goal from Diego Fagundez.

Orlando City moves to 2-2-4 this season, and with 10 points moves back into the playoff picture, sitting in 4th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Lions will host the New York Red Bulls on Friday, May 5th.
