The Knights shot just 31 percent in the first half but still managed to keep the Huskies within striking distance, trailing by just six at the break.
Midway through the second half things fell apart for UCF, committing turnovers and allowing UConn to generate easy buckets in transition. The Black & Gold had nine turnovers in the second half, which led to 16 baskets for the Huskies.
