Orlando Guardians kickoff new season

Orlando, Fla. - Central Florida's first responders football team kicks off its new season this weekend.

All of the players on the Orlando Guardians are certified first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, corrections officers, EMT's and military personnel.

They play in the National Public Safety Football League against other first responders from around the country.

The Orlando Guardians' season opener is against Roanoke Rampage on Saturday, March 19th at 6 p.m. at Lake Mary High School.

Roanoke Rampage at Guardians
6 p.m. at Lake Mary High School, 655 Longwood Lake Mary Rd, Lake Mary, FL

Saturday, April 16:
Guardians at Philadelphia Blue Flame
1:00 p.m. at Northeast High School, 1601 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA   

Saturday, April 30:
Washington D.C. Generals at Guardians
12:00 PM at Lake Howell High School, 4200 Dike Rd, Winter Park, FL

Saturday, May 14:
Guardians at Cleveland Warriors
1:00 p.m. in Cleveland, OH
