ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - There is an auction selling things from the 'Lost and Found' at the Orlando International Airport.
From iPads to eyeglasses, 7,000 items make their way to the Orlando International Airport lost and found each month. Fox 35 Dana Jay paid the lost and found a visit. She saw belts, a used toaster, a dining set, a table, a whole television, and more.
Supervisor Patricial Sarria says most of the stuff is left behind at the TSA checkpoint. Each item is meticulously cataloged and then stored by the eleven clerks that work seven days a week.
Sarria also says that they return 60% of the lost items to their owners. The rest of the stuff is sent to auction after 30 days. You can bid for and view items HERE.
