Update: All lanes back open on I-95 near Oak Hill after brush fire
Update 9 p.m. - I-95 is back open in both directions, following a 14-acre brush fire near Oak Hill.

Update 8 p.m. - The north and southbound lanes of I-95 remain closed as firefighters continue to extinguish hot spots along both sides of the roadway, following a 14-acre brush fire near Oak Hill.
The fire burned up to the roadside and jumped the interstate in the late afternoon. Firefighters created backburns to burn the brush along the roadway in hopes of preventing flare-ups tonight.
Area motorists can expect heavy smoke tonight and tomorrow and are urged to drive with caution.
Firefighters responded from the Florida Forest Service, Volusia County Fire Rescue, Brevard County Fire Rescue and the New Smyrna Beach Fire Department.
Florida Forest Service officials are investigating the cause of the fire.

Update 7:03 p.m. - A spot-over on the west side of I-95 has forced the reclosure of the southbound lanes of I-95 near Oak Hill. Both lanes are closed at this time.

Southbound lanes on I-95 near the Volusia-Brevard County line are back open as firefighters battle a brush fire.
Northbound and southbound lanes were shut down Friday afternoon.
Just before 5 p.m., southbound lanes were back open.
Fire officials say the fire is burning in the Oak Hill area.
Northbound lanes remain closed at CR-5A.
