Firefighters said the call came in around 8:46 a.m., Sunday from 244 NE 44th Avenue after a toddler was found laying unconscious in a small pool in the yard at the house.
Firefighters said when they arrived at the home, a bystander was already performing CPR on the child.
The child was taken to Munroe Regional Medical Center then flown to Shands Hospital after the toddler was stabilized.
Firefighters urge parents to be alert and for everyone who lives near water or owns a pool to install and alarm.
