Record number of Southern Right whales spending breeding season in Argentina

More than one kind of tourist is flocking to the Argentinean Beaches this year.

There are record numbers of Southern Right whales spending their breeding season in Argentina. 

Conversation groups say that about 800 whales visited the Patagonian Coastline over the last year, giving birth to about 300 calves.

Wildlife Rangers crediting conservation measures put in place by the local government for the highest number of whales counted in local water since records bean in 1971.

Drawn by the promise of a unique view of these majestic mammals, whale watchers are making their way to El Doradillo, one of the only places on Earth where they can watch the whales from the shore.
