Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum returns to Tallahassee as Michael approaches

Democrat Andrew Gillum says that his campaign to be Florida's next Governor is on hold as Tropical Storm Michael heads towards the Panhandle.

Gillum is the Mayor of Tallahassee. Due to the storm, he will stay in the capitol, getting the city ready for whatever danger Michael could bring.

A state of emergency was issued on Sunday by Florida Governor Rick Scott for the 26 counties in the Florida Panhandle and the Big Bend area. The declaration will free up resources for storm preparation.
