Orlando City holds open practice at Citrus Bowl

Excitement is building in Central Florida for the Orlando City Soccer Club's first season in Major League Soccer.

Thousands of fans went to the Citrus Bowl Saturday to watch the new home team practice for its first match next month.

A fan club called Ruckus created quite the ruckus at a tailgating party outside the Citrus Bowl Saturday. Thousands of fans spent the evening celebrating the Orlando City Soccer Club before its open practice.

Team owner Phil Rawlins has been working for four years to bring professional soccer to Orlando, and spent Saturday shaking hands with fans that came out.

Inside the stadium, Head Coach Adrian Heath led his team through a workout while fans studied the new lineup. Meanwhile, International soccer star Ricardo Kaka took his place on the field.
