Pigs recovering after being removed from rescue

More than 100 pot-bellied pigs have been rescued in Polk County.

The owners of "Darlynn's Darlins Rescue" were arrested and charged with 138 counts of animal neglect and three counts of animal abuse for allegedly not feeding the animals.

PETA tipped off the Sheriff's Office about the rescue's poor conditions last month.  The pigs are looking much better, now that they are in a county facility.  Rescuers are looking to find permanent homes for the pigs.
