Was he late for tee time?

A huge alligator was spotted taking a leisurely stroll through a South Carolina golf course on Tuesday.

"Our special guest was running late for his tee time this morning at Long Cove Club!" the club wrote on Facebook.

“It was moving from one lagoon to the next, and the golf course and the driving range were in the way,” assistant golf pro Cory Grimes told The Island Packet.

The 10-foot-long, 400 pound gator was seen walking across the green at the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina as one golfer seems oblivious to the huge beast.

"He eventually settled into a lagoon near #10 tee box," the club told Fox 35.

According to Fox News, the 10-foot gator isn't even the largest one spotted in the area.
