13 people rescued as yacht sinks off Florida coast

The Coast Guard rescued 13 people from a sinking yacht off the south Florida coast.
Officials say the vessel, called the Serena Three, started taking on water about 13 miles offshore, around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The Coast Guard battled choppy seas and high winds, and helped all 13 people off and then about 25 minutes later, it sank to the bottom.
The yacht was going from Fort Lauderdale to Freeport, Bahamas.
Investigators are trying to figure out why it sank.
