World Center of Speed ribbon cutting

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- On Wednesday afternoon there was a ribbon cutting at the Daytona International Speedway.  It comes days before the Rolex 24 race.

The project is two and a half years in the making and comes at a cost of $400 million.

"No longer do we say the words Daytona Rising, we now say Daytona International Speedway... the first and only motor sports stadium on the planet," Speedway president Joie Chitwood III said.
