The Lake County Sheriff's Office says that around 5:06 p.m. on Tuesday, one of their deputies saw a woman who appeared to be passed out at the wheel at the Wawa in Clermont off of U.S. 27. When the deputy woke her up, her speech was slurred and she appeared to be under the influence of something. There were also visible needles in the car.

They went on to say that she eventually put the car in drive and drove away from the deputy. He followed her from Lake into Orange County, however they never went over the speed limit. Stop sticks were eventually used and the woman pulled into the Walmart off Apopka Vineland around 5:39 p.m.

Deputies say the woman had needles and drug paraphernalia in the car. She has a felony drug warrant out of Orange County.
