Woman, baby killed in crash on I-4 near Lake Helen
LAKE HELEN, Fla. (FOX 35 Orlando) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 4 in Volusia County around 10 p.m. Friday.
The two-vehicle crash, near Lake Helen, shut down eastbound lanes of the interstate for several hours. FHP says a woman and baby were pronounced deceased at scene, after they were ejected from their vehicle. Two adult males -- one from each vehicle -- were transported to Halifax Health.
