Woman accused of stealing stroller, items at Disney

Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman, accused of selling a stroller, child's car seat, diaper bag and toys that were reported stolen on Sunday night at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.

Amanda Poyner, 24, was charged with dealing in stolen property, a second-degree felony.

Investigators said the Diaz Family had just finished the "Little Mermaid Ride" and returned to where they left their stroller with their toddler and baby, when they discovered it was gone. Also taken were their jackets, a phone charger, and blankets.. In all, the stolen items totaled more than $1,000 in property

The family took to social media to alert friends before a detective was able to locate some of the stolen items on sites like Facebook Marketplace and LetGo.  The detective arranged for a purchase, in order to make the arrest.

The Diaz's were able to give serial numbers for their stolen goods and that made all the difference.
