Universal Orlando unveils Christmas events

If you're not in the holiday spirit, Universal Orlando will get you there with their Christmas experience that has been two years in the making.

"It's just magical," says Lora Sauls with Universal Studios, as she references the enormous Christmas tree behind her. "Santa's going to light this amazing tree nightly. We also will see it snow all through the streets of New York every single night."

But this year's main attraction is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, decked out like you've never seen before.

"It's a brand new view of our beloved Hogwart's castle," says Michael Aiello with Universal Studios.

Hogwart's Castle will e glowing with Christmas flare, dawning decor, lights and a special holiday show projected on the castle every 20 minutes.

"It's a beautiful show. We decorate the castle. We have fairies that appear and decorate all the garland. We transform the castle into the Yule ball, which is in the fourth movie, and you're going to see representations of Hermoine and Viktor Krum dancing as they do in the films." Aiello tells FOX 35.

Not to be outdone by other park attractions, the show ends giving the audience the true feeling of Christmas.

"The grand finale of the castle decorated for the holidays, covered in snow."

Also new this year is Universal's Holiday Parade, featuring Macy's.

"The floats are bigger than we've ever seen, self-driving, they can spin 360 degrees, they have all LED programmed lights and characters we've never seen in a typical Macy's parade," Sauls tells FOX 35.

These holiday experiences will be a made available to the public starting November 18, 2017 and will run until January 6, 2018.
