UCF Pizza delivery driver intimidated by gunman; gun is actually a BB gun

- The University of Central Florida Police Department (UCF PD) reported that around 1:20 a.m., a pizza delivery driver who was in a vehicle near Knights Plaza was followed by another car, an older white Lexus, believed to be occupied by three males.

The Lexus driver flashed the car's lights and the delivery driver reported that the passenger in the vehicle waved a handgun at him. The Lexus then fled off campus at a high rate of speed. W

Police eventually caught the passenger with the handgun. He was identified as 20-year-old Niyazi Hasanov. He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The weapon involved was reportedly just a BB gun, but nonetheless, police think it was clear that Hasanov's intent was to intimidate and the driver's feat of harm was very real.
