SANFORD, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Police attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation, but the vehicle fled. The vehicle was ultimately found and two were arrested.
The Sanford Police Department says that when attempting to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on August 17th, the vehicle fled. With the assistance of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Alert and the Sanford Police Department's Bravo Squad, the vehicle was found in the area of Hartwell Avenue.
They say that during the incident, 26 small baggies containing 5.9 grams of MDMA (molly), 1.4 grams of marijuana, and 18 counterfeit $100 bills were collected. Both occupants of the vehicle, Edericus Glover and James Nelson, were arrested with multiple charges.
Glover was charged with Resisting an Officer -- Fleeing and Eluding and Possession of Marijuana Under 20 Grams. Nelson was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell (molly) and Possession of Counterfeit Money.
