Titusville apartment complex damaged by Hurricane Irma condemned

- More than 70 residents of Bay Towers in Titusville are unable to retrieve anymore stuff they left behind before Hurricane Irma hit almost two weeks ago.

The City of Titusville is testing the northern tower because of mold and mildew growing from water intrusion after winds ripped parts of the roof off. The mold growth got so bad, the city condemned the property. Residents like Wendy Alexander cannot get the stuff she and her husband left behind no matter how hard they try.

Many of the Bay Towers residents are staying in FEMA hotels near Highway 50 and I-95. They says they were told by management they might be able to go back in on Monday or Tuesday.
