Thieves target DeLand auto repair shop

Maribel Collazo and her husband run M & L Auto repair shop in DeLand. When they showed up for work Monday morning they found a car missing, 22 keys for cars in their lot Gone.

"They took all the keys with them. We had to make new key for each car now," she said.

Thousands of dollars worth of "Snap On" brand tools were taken, the less expensive ones left behind.And that's not all...when she looked in her filing cabinet.

"They took all my files, and everything was clean. no papers on the floor. they opened all the drawers and take everything," Collazo explained. 

Investigators said personal information of customers is now in the hands of criminals., including phone numbers, addresses an account information.  They called deputies.

Collazo said her husband's Snap On tools all have his initials P.C. scratched into them.  The stolen car is a silver Mazda 2005 4 door with a pro-life sticker on the back bumper.
