Tens of thousands expected at Lake Eola's 'Fireworks at the Fountain'

Tens of thousands of people are expected to pack Lake Eola on Wednesday night for the annual "Fireworks at the Fountain." Last year, more than 120,000 people came out to see the big show.

Starting Wednesday morning, the roads around Lake Eola will be closed for the rest of the day. Expect some detours as you make your way through Downtown Orlando.

This is a big event that draws thousands of people to enjoy good food, music, and of course a patriotic fireworks show. Safety is a top priority for an event of this size and Orlando Police Chief John Mina says that they are ready.

Entertainment starts at 4 p.m. with the big fireworks show lighting up the sky at 9:15 p.m.
