Suspect stabs man in his front yard after arguing at a party

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook that they arrested Noah Hiebert, 19, for stabbing a man in front of his Longwood home early Sunday morning.

The post says that deputies responded to a disturbance call at the residence located on Pickering Court around 2 a.m.

Upon arrival, they reportedly observed several people in front of the home surrounding a male victim who was laying on the ground bleeding. The 21-year-old victim had multiple stab wounds and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police say that witnesses told them that Hiebert was having a party at his home and the victim showed up uninvited. The two fought and the situation escalated in the front yard when Hiebert stabbed the victim several times with a pocket knife. Hiebert reportedly then tossed the knife down a sewer drain and left the area on foot.

As investigators were interviewing witnesses, Hiebert returned to the scene and was arrested, according to the post. He was charged with attempted homicide and tampering with evidence.
