SpaceX prepares for Falcon 9 launch

SpaceX says it’s ready for Wednesday's rocket launch at Cape Canaveral. The company will send a communications satellite into space tomorrow night.

SpaceX tweeted a picture from a rocket engine test that they did on Tuesday.

They successfully landed the Falcon 9 on land in December at Cape Canaveral. However, they will attempt sea-based rocket landing after tomorrow’s launch. Sea-based landings are considered to be much more difficult.

The last three times SpaceX attempted barge landings all ended in failure.

The launch is set for 6:46 p.m. tomorrow night. But, there is some  concern about strong wind and clouds because of an approaching cold front.
