Sky diver injured after hard landing near airport in DeLand
DELAND, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - DeLand Police reported that on Wednesday morning that responded to an injured skydiver.
The skydiver, who is yet to be identified, was said to have been transported via Air One helicopter to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach after a hard landing in an area northwest of DeLand Municipal Airport.
Police say the sky diver's injuries are unknown at this time and police are trying to determine what led to the hard landing.
