Sketch released in attempted abduction in Edgewater
EDGEWATER, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Edgewater Police are looking for a suspect in the attempted abduction of a 9-year-old boy. He was riding his bike to Edgewater Public Elementary School on Wednesday morning in the 100 block of W. Turgot Avenue when he was approached by a man, according to police. The man asked the boy if he wanted to come "to his house." The child rode to safety on his bicycle.
Authorities on Thursday released a composite sketch of the suspect, described as a white man 5 feet, 2 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches in height, with a heavy build, medium length black hair, and a long black goatee.
