Simeon Hall pleads guilty to second beating

One of the teens convicted in a deadly beating in Winter Park has pleaded guilty to a second beating.

Simeon Hall has pleaded guilty to attempted battery and damaging his court-issued electric monitoring device, according to court documents. That second offense is a felony.

Hall had been ordered to wear that ankle monitor during the court case of Roger Trindade. Earlier this month, Hall and Jesse Sutherland were convicted of beating the Winter Park teen to deth in 2016.

Prosecutors say that Hall attacked a second teen in another park late last year while he was supposed to be on house arrest.

Sentencing for both cases is set for mid-June. Hall faces up to 17 years in prison and he could go to jail for two different criminal cases.
