Shooting prompts officials to move football game start times to Saturday mornings

- The Palm Beach County School District announcing changes after a shooting during a high school football game and the coach is not happy about it.

Pre-season games for Palm Beach Central High will now be played at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Football coach Tino Ierulli took to Twitter to vent his frustrations. He asks the district "How are we expecting student athletes to play a game on Saturday morning when they will be taking their SAT's? Not mention, over half of my team works on weekends."

The Sun Sentinel reports that this is just one of few changes coming after that shooting. Beginning with this week's games, only clear bags are allowed in stadiums. Also, if someone leaves a game before it is over, they will not be allowed back in.

Deputies say a fight got out of hand near the ticket booth on Friday, which led to the shooting. Two people were hurt and both are recovering at the hospital.

In the meantime, counseling is going to be available for students at Palm Beach Central High if they need it.
