WINDERMERE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting incident involving deputies that they say the suspect livestreamed on Instagram.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to a home on Citra Circle in Windermere in reference to a call about a man beating a woman and dragging her by her hair into the road. Upon arrival, they said 23-year-old Laforest Duron Gray Jr. was barricaded behind a car in an open garage and refused to come out, show deputies his hands, or comply with any verbal commands. That's when the Sheriff's office said that three deputies opened fire.

Three deputies discharged their weapons. During a preliminary investigation, it remained unclear whether the suspect fired a gun, though a firearm was recovered at the scene, deputies say.
Sheriff John Mina said that Gray Jr. actually posted the shooting on Instagram.
When the suspect emerged from the garage, he resisted attempts to placed into custody but was eventually taken down by a K-9, the Sheriff's Office said.
Gray Jr. was taken to the hospital with injuries resulting from a K-9 bite. Authorities did not immediately say what charges he could face, if any.
None of the deputies were injured.
