Search for missing boaters in Atlantic
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for two boaters who abandoned their sinking boat on Wednesday evening, about three miles off the coast of Crescent Beach, Florida.
At 5:48 p.m. on Wednesday, the boat operator told Coast Guard officials he and his wife were getting in their dinghy. Crewmembers from Coast Guard Station Mayport, Florida, and A crew aboard an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Air Station Savannah, Georgia are searching for the couple.
