Police say woman was attacked at grocery store

Holly Hill police officers are looking for a man whom they say attacked a woman in the bread aisle of a Holly Hill Walmart.

The brutal attack was caught on surveillance, they say. Deputy Chief Jeffrey Miller explains what happens.

"It was an African American who walked up to a customer in the aisle and decked her, knocked her to the ground and took the purse from her shopping cart."

That customer follows the thief who has her purse.

"She's a tough woman, got to give her credit. He ran out but he gave it to one of the Walmart employees to distract from what was going on. And he ran out from the Walmart."

The Chief says that woman was injured.

"She's tough. She has some bruising to her legs, eyes black and blue, but she's tough. Got to give her credit."

Officers are trying find out who this creep is.

"We're looking for him, he's about 6 foot 180 pounds the picture will clearly show if you know him who it is.He did get into a newer silver colored charger with black racing strips n the back of it."

If you have any information on who this guy is, call the Holly Hill Police Department.
