Police say naked intruder scared woman

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - It was a scary scene for an elderly woman in New Smyrna Beach -- her voice shaking as she called 911 for help.

"There's a naked guy that ran in my house!" she said.

Police said Joseph Vaglica not only ran through the garage into the home. He went into the woman's bedroom where she was standing and grabbed some of her clothing and put it on, then took it off.

The woman ran to her stepson's next door for help.  He grabbed a gun and told a 911 operator Vaglica was now in the yard.

 "I have no idea who he is. He's standing out in the yard naked staring into the sky," her stepson told the 911 operator. 

As police were arriving, they say he started rolling around in the yard.  Police say Vaglica appeared to be intoxicated. They took him to the hospital before jail.
