Police chase ends after SCSO deploy stop sticks

ORANGE COUNTY, FLA (WOFL-FOX 35) - Orange County Sheriff Deputies arrested two men overnight after police said they stole a car and led them on a chase.

As of right now, the details surrounding the carjacking are unclear, but deputies said they spotted the stolen vehicle on S.R. 408. When officers tried to make a traffic stop, the driver took off, prompting the chase.

According to police, the driver headed North on the 417 crossing into Seminole County. That's when Seminole County Sheriffs met the suspects near Red Bug Lake Road and deployed stop sticks.

Fortunately, there were no injuries and deputies were able to take the suspects into custody.
