ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - If you’re heading to downtown Orlando this weekend, especially on Saturday, expect some big backups on the roads.
On Friday, the popular Electric Daisy Carnival began near Camping World Stadium. Organizers said that event alone could draw 10s of thousands.
That’s just the start of the things to do though. Throughout the day Saturday, downtown will host the Veteran’s Day Parade, a beer festival, an art event, and several concerts, including Jay-Z at the Amway Center.
Motorists are advised to prepare for a lot of traffic and leave early. Those attending the events can also expect a heavy police presence and a lot of security as cops and organizers say they are prepared to keep the busy weekend a safe one.
