Overturned crane causes traffic delays for morning commute

An overturned crane in Orange County caused traffic delays on Tuesday morning.

State troopers say it could take at least two hours to clean up the accident on southbound S.R. 417 just before the Curry Ford Road exit. A heavy truck with a crane has flippped over on its side.

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says that the driver blew a tire just before 4 a.m., lost control, and hit a guardrail before flipping over. The driver was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

State troopers say that some hydraulic fluid spilled and there's also some damage to the guardrail and the road.

During clean-up major delays built up but the road is now clear and moving once again.
