KISSIMMEE, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - An Osceola County substitute teacher has been arrested for molesting a student, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher, 19, is facing three charges of lewd and lascivious molestation on a child under 12-years-old. According to a press release, the mother of the victim told deputies that the abuse took place at Boggy Creek Elementary School at 810 Florida Parkway in Kissimmee.
The victim was reportedly interviewed by the Child Protective Team and after deputies confronted Syedaseen-Asher, he confessed to the crime.
Detectives also interviewed other students at the school to find out if there are more victims or witnesses. They said they have not identified any other victims so far but the investigation is ongoing.
Syedaseen-Asher was taken to the Osceola County jail. No word on how long he had worked at the school.
