Orlando Theme Park Developer Lands Multi-Million Dollar Contract in Asia

It's pretty safe to say Orlando is the theme park capital of the world. But did you know some of the best park rides are actually built in our backyard as well?
Dynamic Attractions is a Canada-based ride design company and it has an office in Orlando. They are master minds behind some of your favorite rides at Disney World and Universal Studios.  The company designs theme park attractions from lighting, special effects, you name it they make it and of course employees get to test out some cool rides. Many of the most popular rides at the world's largest amusement parks have been engineered, fabricated and/or built by Dynamic Attractions
“We can put a person or a group of people at the end of the arm and with that we can simulate the motion many different types of vehicles that can be flying, it can be driving, you can be on a motorcycle. So the robotic arm gives us a great deal of flexibility,” said Mike Haimson the VP Technical Developer as he discussed the robotic arm.
The 32-square foot facility is located in Orlando. Dynamic Attractions is also making attractions around the world. Right now the company is working on a $21 million dollar contract to develop a ride for a major theme park in China.
“It’s not just the ride or the attraction or the scenery we actually put the whole package together. And that’s a new service that we just started offering this year so we will build the complete attraction from beginning to end,” said George Walker who is VP Creative Developer for Dynamic Attractions. “It’s pretty cool, I can’t say a whole lot about it but what I can say is, it’s going to be an experimental theme park.  One that’s not just a collection of rides and attractions that you wonder through.”
Their 3D effects actually make you feel like you’re in another world. This is the new wave of attractions. Walker said it’s about competition and coming up with the next “new” big attraction.
