Orlando Speaks workshop to build trust between officers and community

The Orlando Police Department is working to improve its relationship with the community. Police Chief John Mina, along with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, will host the second Orlando Speaks workshop Tuesday night.

Residents will get a chance to speak one-on-one with police, to share their stories and concerns. Chief Mina said he hopes the workshop will strengthen the trust between officers and residents.

Tuesday's workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. at Edgewater High School.
