The Orlando Magic made a special delivery to Advent Health for Children on behalf of their team and basketball fans.

Magic Guard Jerian Grant, forward player Jarell Martin and Magic community ambassadors Nick Anderson and Bo Outlaw were among members and volunteers from the the team who delivered teddy bears to pediatric patients on Thursday.

In a news release, Grant said it's all about the kids.

"It gives these kids a chance to step away from being a patient for moment and we’re glad to give back and support our youngest fans," he said.

Back on January 29, hundreds of teddy bears parachuted from the rafters of the Amway Center.

Each bear included a note encouraging fans to write an inspiring message on the tag and donate the stuffed animal to sick children at Advent Health.

“This special delivery means so much to our patients their families,” said Chantelle Bennett, Child Life Manager at Advent Health for Children. “We are grateful for the Orlando Magic and their fans for their partnership and encouragement.”
